I love writing.  I journal in different ways - but this book came to life when I took my first trip to Tanzania Africa in 2009.  After living in a tiny village and experience the life of those that live there my eyes were wide open.  My heart was moved to write and share what I couldn't get off of my mind.  The vast differences and desire to learn was the basis for where this book began. I  hope that this book opens up your eyes to just how lucky we are in the USA! I traveled for the first time to Tanzania Africa in 2009. It was a life changing trip.  I saw families living in grass and mud huts, dirty water being used by animals and drank by humans, children walking miles to get this water for their families each day.  I experienced the same food options each day rice and beans along with living in the most tight knit and loving community.  How and why did I love what I was experiencing - it wasn't material goods it was heartfelt love and the kindness of neighbors helping one another something that was missing in the USA.  I was moved to help - You can find my nonprofit work at:  www.missionbarista.com  Karibu! Welcome!
